NGC 474 is an elliptical galaxy in constellation Pisces at a distance of about 100 million light-years.

NGC 474 is top left. It has very tenuous arms as can be seen on the negative picture below. West (right) of NGC 474 is NGC 470, a Mag 12 nice little spiral galaxy. The "bright" star magnitude is 7 and to its right is NGC 467 a Mag 12 elliptical galaxy. At least four other distant galaxies are visible.
